Wabun Foundation

is dedicated to providing youth access to transformative wilderness experiences.

We are excited to announce the formation of the Wabun Foundation. The Wabun Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization with the sole purpose of ensuring that Wabun can continue providing transformational wilderness opportunities for generations to come.

The Wabun Foundation is a significant evolution of the Red Canoe Foundation and Camp Wabun. It will combine the philanthropic expertise of RCF and programmatic strengths of Wabun into one seamless and singularly-focused organization. More detailed information about this transformation will be communicated this fall.

With this change, your tax-deductible donations can now be used to support operations, repair and maintenance, training and capital improvements. This is a change from past donations to the Red Canoe Foundation, which were limited to scholarships for campers.

While camper scholarships remain a priority, we are excited for the opportunity to more broadly support the sustainability of Camp Wabun in direct ways. This also gives members of our Wabun community additional opportunities to direct their support for the camp.
