Reflection: One of my favorite moments from the summer had to be shooting Plum Pudding. In my attempt to avoid a huge rock near the left shore which had flipped another canoe, I went too close to the center of the rapid where the ridiculously big stuff was. As we entered the first stack, I screamed "hold on Luke!" As we came down the first stack, the bow totally nose-dived and the canoe filled to the brim with water. We had to shoot the rest of the rapid fully loaded with water -- it was a miracle we didn't flip.
